Mama Sita’s Summer Kilawin

Ingredients:

60ml Mama Sita’s Sinamak Vinegar

500gm Sashimi grade tuna or mackerel, cut into 1.5cm cubes

¼ Red Onion

juice of half a lime

1 knob of ginger, julienned

1 avocado, diced 1.5cm cubes

1 chilli, finely chopped


Method:

In a medium bowl with the fish, add the onions, lime, Mama Sita’s Sinamak Vinegar, ginger and gently toss.

Set aside for 5 minutes or so to soak in the flavours.

Add the avocado and carefully fold.

Top with chopped chilli for garnish and serve immediately.

Season to taste.
